THREE Osprey Eggs & Eagle 4-15-08

The eggs -3- were finally seen when the male flew in with a fish!
Things got hectic as an intruder approached but shortly left.
The view of eagle nest is getting covered by leaves.
This view is clearer, but you have to crawl and sit under trees to avoid branches in front of your camera!
This is a favorite and probably the best we will get.

April 12 Eagle and Osprey Cam

The female looking out in the afternoon.

The concensus of opinion is that there are two osprey eggs.
The male flew in with a fish and dropped it right in front of her nose!

April 12 AM Eagles

The female eagle was alone in the nest in the early morning.
Then the male flew in with a fish for breakfast.

"What did you bring home now?"
(Looks like piece of vinyl siding!)

April 1 and 8 Eagles

The female eagle was in the nest.......
......while the male said, "I'm hiding in the woods. April Fool!"
Both together
The female has been more active and visible in the nest. We hope she is tending to chicks now.

April 8 Ospreys

It was a hazy day at the Park, but good for fishing. This osprey sat in a tree over the boathouse and munched on her breakfast undeterred by activity below.
Our # 2 resident is sitting low on the nest, indicating egg incubation. Hope the camera will be running soon!
CARP SUSHI, ANYONE?
