Ospreys 3-8-11

Good Morning to our regular pair! They are the first to arrive and claim their old camera platform. The male arrived 3-1 and the female was seen at the nest on 3-3. Within a 15 minute span, each osprey circled off the nest and caught a fish!...

Feathered Friends

At the Park 2-22-11
A female No. Harrier flew over the marsh grass in Jug Bay....
These tundra swans stayed all day & were later joined by two more....
Afternoon naptime....
Today, a sharp-shinned hawk was seen thru the window at home. We haven't seen one for awhile. He is the smaller "cousin" of the Cooper's hawk....
"Here's looking at you, kid!".....

"There she goes".....
After a wiggle, Dad sat on the egg(s)....
The AA County nest across the River--- sun was better this day to show the head and beak w/out glare. It's a little blurry, but you can enlarge...
