Feathered Friends

At the Park 2-22-11
A female No. Harrier flew over the marsh grass in Jug Bay....
These tundra swans stayed all day & were later joined by two more....
Afternoon naptime....
Today, a sharp-shinned hawk was seen thru the window at home. We haven't seen one for awhile. He is the smaller "cousin" of the Cooper's hawk....
"Here's looking at you, kid!".....

All of them, birds I have never seen except for a flock of Tundras back in Dec 2006 flying South

Loretta your pictures are always a "treat" for me. That pictue of the Hawk is beautiful. I will have to try and google to find difference between that one and the cooper hawk. ty for sharing (:
