Golden Lion Tamarin family with the Two-Toed Sloth in the back. He's lounging in his box while hanging onto the ceiling with two claws.

A Walk in the Marsh

At Patuxent River Park there is a boardwalk loop through Black Walnut Creek Nature Study Area. It is a small stream valley which opens into the river. The green canopy of trees and plants envelopes you with a feeling of serenity which can't really be captured by pictures. Come along.....

Butterfly Garden at Patuxent River Park

This area was a long triangle of grass in the middle of our parking lot and roadway. A naturalist suggested that we make a butterfly garden there! Bless her!!

PARSLEY

Bought a couple parsley plants a few years ago just because they had black swallowtail caterpillars. Planted them later in front of the house and look what happened!! Parsley is behind the coneflowers. HELP!
