Saaksi 2009 Nest--female stood up and some of eggs can be seen. You may have to enlarge-----double click.

At the "Farmhouse" office, we finally saw some goslings. Our regular pond residents did not have any chicks this year.

Park Eagle Nest

Here's the nest at Patuxent River Park. Take a look at the 2 large branches on the far right.......

Adult is perching there now!
On May 19, this was the only view that showed all 3 eaglets (sort of)!

The quality of this clip is not very good, but was the only small spot of the nest that could be seen from the road. Watch for the brown bouncing ball in the center.

Look familiar?? More flapping was seen on the right side of the nest, but not recorded--too many trees blocking the view.

Mom's Day at Hornby

This and That

Nest view now! Think the rain caused the 3 eaglets to cuddle in nest bowl. The best picture I think we'll see was one from April 25.

It's a little hard to see, but the one osprey egg is shown with red arrow. Had rain on the cam lens too.

BLUE tulips! Both varities were supposed to be blue, but here's what grew.
