Nice Visitor and Park Osprey

This cardinal somehow was able to visit "Magnolia Acres" without being bombarded by the house wrens that had taken up residence.
We don't often see an osprey at the new Park cam nest anymore...
Some of the family in the new platform nest. They were a little behind schedule due to building a whole new nest. The male had another nest before, closer to trees and lost his mate last year from predation by probably a Great Horned Owl.
Pair on the original camera nest had no family. She is a new mate also. Same thing occurred at this nest last year....
The light green feathery plumes on the lime green stalks are wild rice.

Robins Fledge

First sightings of both chicks after leaving the nest......
Baby #1, not too far from the nest
Baby #2

More Hailuoto

Here is Koo wingercising. Note that when a little off the ground, the bad leg hangs down somewhat. "Knee" may be frozen, but hip seems to be OK.
Finland sunset......

Finney Ospreys

All of a sudden Mom gave the command and the three chicks hit the deck...
Soon, it was recess!!!

Baby Boy wingercising.... Baby Boy chowing down. He had fish all over his belly, so finally sat down to hold it with his good foot....
Day is done and all is well
