What a surprise to see flowers after the snow melted at Chelsea farmhouse office....

He then took off to a favorite spot.....

They're Back!! Mar. 9, 2010

First ospreys were seen on March 8 at Patuxent River Park. This one sat and posed on the morning of the 9th...

Later in the day, one caught a late lunch...
...but was harassed by pesky crows.

"I'll scare them!"

He moved to another tree to enjoy his feast...

Shorty's tail is starting to grow some new tufts of fur. Soon the tip will be round, not square.
