Too many branches and twigs in the way today! Need to send up the beavers....
Probably adult--tail is either shadowed or still has some dark top feathers. When this one flew off, tail looked white when open....

Gus Plus
Here is Gus! He is a full grown miniature hedgehog from Africa...
Love that face ! His nose is burgundy. He is living now at Watkins Nature Center in Largo, MD. (Almost next door to Chelsea.) A volunteer there had him as a pet, but didn't know how to care for him, so turned him over to the Center....
Tried to show all of him as he crawled in naturalist Paula's lap. His coat is stiff....
Mr. Rufous-sided Towhee at Park yesterday....
