Park Scenes - Birds, 2-13-10

The gang's all here at Patuxent River Park, even some we don't often see....
Song sparrow and towhee....
Juvie eagle......
Eagle and hawk!!!! They were very diplomatic in sharing the branch. Hawk left shortly and was not persued....
Hermit thrush......

I had a towhee too! Only for the blizzard day and the day after...haven't see him since. I've only ever seen 1 other her before! (on my blog)
I love the wood thrush!! They usually migrate from this area in winter...I'm jealous! They have the most beautiful song!
