Marsh Flowers Along Study Loop 4-24-10

The beloved Pink Lady Slipper (only one) was found in it's same spot off the top of a staircase in woods near an observation tower overlooking the stream valley...

My dear Loretta...THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU for posting the pic of the LADY SLIPPER, just as lovely as I remembered. Put a sign near it, labeling as an endangered species...fine for picking it will be cleaning up the Patuxent river every week for a year:)!

I would like to visit next year and maybe you can take me to this beauty of nature!
