Today, a lovely female red-bellied woodpecker visited the suet. We haven't seen a female for a long time. Could she be our older adult?, or a newbie?...

The SPECIAL guest today was a male yellow-bellied sapsucker!!!!....
Very seldom see a male, and not usually this early in winter....

What a pretty bird the sapsucker is...not at all what I thought a sapsucker looks like. What we have that we thought was a sapsucker, must be something else...will have to look it up~
