Fine Farm Dining 9-18-13

When entering Chelsea Farm Office yesterday, we saw that the farmer had cut down all the corn! We'll probably get dinner guests for the leftovers.  At about 6:30 PM, the fields were full of Canada geese and a few brave deer in the right field....

Wider view of some of that field showing our entrance gate on right....
Another large field on the left with geese, deer at the tree line and something white on left!?....

Closer  pic.  Is it a goat?....

Small brown and white critter feeding next to doe.....

Here it's in front of probably Mom! Must be a piebald fawn!....

Definitely a deer~~can see the head. According to a few websites, piebald and albino deer are rare and occur in less than 1% of their population. Caused by a genetic mutation....
How special to be dining under the Full Corn or Harvest Moon!.....
