I'm totally gobsmacked though,, I don't think I've ever seen an Osprey nest so low to the ground before,, I've been watching Ospreys for over 30 years and this is a first for me !!!Could you tell me please how the chicks manage to fledge and not fall into the water and drown, I've seen so many, many fledgings, and each one is different, the chicks do it in their own way, but the first time always brings problems, banging into a tree, or ending upside down in the air, or just falling and flapping like crazy until they get themselves right, so being so close to the water would worry me a lot ??? Perhaps we never stop learning about these wonderful special birds, something new is always bound to pop up with them,, I don't think I will ever know all about them,,,,,, Thank you for posting pet,,,, love and hugs Chrissy XXXXXXX
